General Guidelines:

● ONLY ONLINE REGISTRATION, NO ON THE SPOT REGISTRATION.
● THE TEAMS WILL BE SELECTED ON THE BASIS OF THE SUBMISSION OF THEIR PERFORMANCE, TO PERFORM ON THE ACTUAL DAY OF THE FEST
● CONFIRMATION WILL BE SENT THROUGH MAIL
● Only ONE ENTRY is allowed PER PARTICIPANT/TEAM

Students enrolled in a valid course, at any college in possession of a valid identity card of the same institution may participate in the event.

RULES FOR THE EVENT
● Each team must consist of a minimum of 5 vocalists. There can be, at most, 20 members in a team
INCLUDING accompanying instrumentalists.
● Organizing committee shall not provide any instruments/accompanists.
● The competition will consist of only one round (in case of a tie, a tie breaker round will be held,the rules for which will be informed on the spot).
● The composition has to be a non-filmy song in any official language. However, fusion is allowed. Self- composition is also allowed.
● Time limit: 8 minutes + 2 minutes (for setting).
● During the registration for the event, the teams will be required to name the songs that they will be performing. In case of self-composition, lyrics should be mailed at antraa2019@gmail.com.
● Judgment will be based solely on the quality of music and not on make-up, costume or actions of the team.

RULES FOR THE EVENT
● Only solos allowed.
● Participants can sing either in Hindi or in English.
● Participants will be judged on the basis of proficiency in lyrics, stage presence, timing, clarity of voice.
● Any genre is allowed. The given time does not include sound-check and stage setup time.
● Marks will be deducted for exceeding the time limit and the sound will be cut off after exceeding 30 sec.
● Participants have to bring their own instruments. One accompanying instrumentalist is permitted.
However, only the vocalist(s) will be judged.
● No profane language is allowed in the lyrics. Use of such language will result in immediate disqualification.
● Instrumentalist is allowed for the first round.
● Round 1- Participants are required to come with a prepared sequence.
● Time limit - 2 minutes
● Round 2- Chit system
● Short listed candidates will pick a chit from those made available.
● The chit will specify what kind of song (from a set of genres) they will be required to sing in the round.
● After the genre for participant is decided, they will be given a list of songs from which they will choose one to perform.
● Lyrics for all songs will be made available to the contestants.
● A preparation time of 10 minutes will be given.
● Time limit: 1 minute 30 seconds

● Play should concern a social issue.
● The team limit is 20+2 members and duration of the play must not exceed 20+2 minutes.
● Language spoken may be Hindi and/or English only.
● There is no restriction on props and the number of instruments used.
● Use of abusive language and crude gestures may result in disqualification of the team.
● Use of mikes and other electronic instruments is not permitted.

Lilac dreams

PRELIMS :

Deadline for prelims: 22 Jan'19

Rules :

● A team must have a minimum of 8 members. The maximum permissible limit for members is 15 per team + one backstage helper.
● Time limit: 10 minutes for the stage setup time. Points will be deducted for exceeding the time limit.
● Theme selection is open.
● Teams will be selected on the basis of their video auditions mailed at lilacdreams2019@gmail.com.
● Contestants must carry their own costumes, makeup, props and other materials used.
● Participants will be judged on theme, apparel, coordination, theme portrayal, X factor. Emphasis will be given to clothing, portrayal and originality.
● Only one backstage helper is allowed.
● Props are allowed. Lighting of candles, matches or cigarettes on stage is not allowed and will result in disqualification of the team.
● The teams are responsible for their own music and sequence.
● Music is to be submitted in CD/ pen drive. The teams are expected to label the CD or Pen drive properly to avoid confusion and they must submit them to the organizers at least an hour before the event starts. The team should carry at least two extra pen drives for backup.
● The teams are required to clear the stage with the help of organizers immediately after their performance.
● Vulgarity of any kind will lead to disqualification
● A green room will be provided for changing purpose.

Mr. & Ms. Taarangana

PRELIMS :
We are conducting its prelims round online.
1. Send your best picture to us.
2. Your entry will be uploaded on our facebook page and we will send you a google form.
3. Based on the google form answers and highest number of likes, people will be shortlisted for the grand event which will be held in taarangana.
Stay tuned on facebook page for deadline for prelims.

The rules are as follows:
● 10 Girls and 10 Boys will be selected from the online prelims round and will participate on the final day of event.
● No costumes or props will be provided.
● For the first round, participants will be asked to walk the ramp with given props.
● For the second round, the participants will introduce themselves in not more than two-three lines. This introduction will then be followed by talent show.
● Any sound track used for this round must be brought in a CD/ Pen Drive.
● Time limit- 3 minutes.
● Participants have to ensure that one copy of their track is with the event coordinator and one copy as a backup, is present with them.
● Marks will be deducted in case of a time limit violation.
● The third round will be a question and answer round.
● Vulgarity in any form will not be allowed.
● It is the contestant’s duty to be careful and aware of the order of performance.
● Order of performance will be decided on first come first serve basis.

Rules :
● The bands will be short listed on the basis of a preliminary round for which the teams are to send in a video recording of their performance at knightsofthefall2019@gmail.com.
● Each band will be given 20 min (including sound check) to perform. The competing bands should perform at least one Original Composition in the stipulated time limit.
● Performance slots will be allotted on first come first serve basis on the day of event.
● The organisers shall provide lead guitar amplifier, bass guitar amplifier, standard 5 piece drum kit(single pedal base),corded mics, any equipments required apart from these shall be arranged for by the competing band itself.

● This is a solo event ( single person as a participant only ) and, NO team efforts are allowed.
● PLAGIARISM of any form will not be accepted. It may result in elimination of the submitted entry.
● Use of any external resources ( for example : internet, notes, books ) for inspiration is strictly prohibited.
● The poem at the time of registration should be different from that of the one in competition. That is, no repetition is allowed.
● Questioning after the poem recitation is allowed by the judge only, so be prepared.
● The verdict passed by the Judges shall be final and binding.

Though there is no specific topic for the preliminary round but any form of plagiarism can lead to disqualification of the participant/s.

● It can be a solo comedy/mono act/ stand up comedy.

● Each participant will be given 8 - 10 mins (including sound check) to perform. The competing individuals should perform Original Composition in the stipulated time limit.

● Participants will be judged on the basis of content, fluency, spontaneity,presentation and sense of humor.
● Negative marking for exceeding time limit.

Campus Princess

RULES :
● The applicant need to fulfill the eligibility criteria of Campus Princess and post qualification of the same they will be called for the audition.
The applicant will be required to produce their age proof.
Bring your own jewellery, make-up etc.
The organizers are not responsible for any delay of the pageant.
Any incorrect information will result in disqualification whether discovered prior to, during, or after the finals.
Nationality: Indian Passport Holder
Age: 18-25
Height: 5'5" and above(without heels)
Relationship status: Single/Unmarried.
Dress Code: Black cocktail dress and stilettos
● The first round will be an elimination round where the participants would be walking the ramp. The second round will be a Q/A round.
● The contests would be tested both on beauty and personality quotient.
● The short-listed candidates will be a part of the fbb Campus Princess pageant to be held in Mumbai 2019 wherein they get trained and groomed by the renowned Industry experts from the fashion & glamour world.

Prelims :
● The theme of the prelims is : BACK TO 90's.
● PLAGIARISM of any form will not be accepted. It may result in elimination of the submitted entry.
● Participants are requested to limit their entry to a maximum of 500 – 750 words. ( Title, Name and other details excluded) ● Entries beyond the deadline will not be accepted.
● Participants are requested to mention their Name, Contact Number, Email id, and Institute clearly, when they submit the entry. It will be required to contact the participant, in case his/her entry is shortlisted.
● The verdict passed by the judges will be final and binding and no individual correspondence will be entered into.
● The participants are requested to NOT add any kind of drawing, photograph, illustration to their entry.
● File formats other than .doc, .docx and .pdf will be rejected.

Finals :
● The theme of the event will be provided to all the shortlisted participants on the spot.
● All the entries must be in Victorian style Literature.

PRELIMS :

RULES :
● Only solos allowed.
● There will be 2 rounds in the event.
● FIRST ROUND: Participants may choose whichever song / forte they wish to. Music has to be brought in a CD/ Pen Drive.
● Time limit : 2 minutes
● SECOND ROUND: This round will be a face off round conducted between participants who are shortlisted from the first round. Each participant will dance for a minute in the face off.
● The final result will be declared on the basis of scores secured in the face off.
● No costumes and props will be provided.
● Order of performance will be decided on first come first serve basis.
● Participants have to ensure that one copy of their edited song is with the event coordinator and one copy, as a backup, is present with them.
● It is the contestant's duty to be careful and aware of the order of performance.

RULES :
● For video preliminaries, send a video (or video link) of your team's performance at with your college name and subject as Urban thump, your college name, at urbanthump2019@gmail.com
● Qualified teams will be contacted via mail or phone. Teams must respond within 2 days to confirm their entry.
● Teams will perform a pre- choreographed piece.
● Stage setting time : 2 minutes(maximum)
● Time limit: 8-10 minutes. Exceeding this will lead to penalization in marks.
● On stage limit: 5(minimum), 15 (maximum) Criteria for judgment includes choreography, stage utilization, costume, prop-usage, synchronization and energy, expressions.
● Audio track to be brought in .mp3 format, in a pen drive or a hard disk and should be submitted during the practice slot.
● Track should also be emailed beforehand on urbanthump2019@gmail.com.
● Use of water, fire and glass is prohibited.
● Any specific requirements regarding lights and smoke must be discussed with organizers well in advance.
